Pretty & Polished are quite a well-established indie nail polish brand. I've always admired their polishes from afar, but never actually taken the plunge as none of the colours stood out to me enough. That is, until I saw Me, Myself and Cacti. Even better, this polish was produced in collaboration with Chalkboard Nails, one of my favourite nail bloggers. It had to be mine!
|Me, Myself and Cacti is a neon green jelly base jam packed with black and white hex glitter. It was inspired by the heat of summer and the cacti in Arizona, where Sarah of Chalkboard Nails lives. It really does look like a bottled cactus!|
I am completely besotted with this polish! I apply nail art to most manicures, but this polish is complex enough to be left as it is. It reminds me of lime jelly, swamps, frog spawn and dominoes. That sounds like an interesting recipe...
Pretty & Polished polishes come in at $8.50 and are really quite unusual - there'll be something for everyone for sure! They're also constantly running competitions and are great for getting involved with bloggers. You can find them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram too.
